“A more unique retreat in KY situated in the middle of nowhere along/near The Bourbon Trail will not be found. This hobbit/gnome themed outdoor resort is at first stunning and then you begin to realize all the work that must have gone into it and all the thought that went into the details/design. From the rock fountain, the hillside rooms, gazebo with swings and fire pit, hot tub room, and the extra large reception/game/common area, etc... it is all there, it works, it is comfortable, it is……

“Last minute overnight stay to visit extended family brought us to this charming farmhouse. The layout is very unique, but expected since it is a restored farmhouse. Beds were comfy. Kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed. Only downside with 5 people is there is one bathroom. It would be super cute if at some point the owner built an "outhouse" style building nearby (so as to not disturb the original structure) with a 2nd toilet and sink. Would definitely rent again.”

“Bourbon Trail Oasis at Boone Farm was a great spot for our family’s getaway. We enjoyed the peaceful quiet located a short drive from area attractions. We visited distilleries, hiked around Mammoth Cave, and had a day trip into Louisville, but were able to come back to the VRBO and simply relax.”

“The host was always quick to reply. The duplex had everything we needed with LOTS of extra touches! We did not have to run to the store to buy coffee, snacks or routine supplies. We were very happy with our stay! ”

“Two families combined with 3 adults and 2 teens had a comfortable 3-night stay. Didn't try the sleeper sofa. Brought an air mattress instead. It's an old structure; naturally some features aren't up to modern code - mostly the staircase and overhead clearance on the staircase. So perhaps not ideal for elderly or if you have limited mobility.But it checks all the boxes for our needs... a/c worked well (cooling and heating), water temp and pressure, kitchen appliances, washer and dryer, room and……
